We are looking for:

Chef De Partie / Sous Chef / Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter

Preparing food for customers and streamlining work from back of house to front of house.

Job Duties:


  • Clean food preparation areas as determined by Food Hygiene Standards
  • Prepare food to the specifications of the customers
  • Make adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
  • Act as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
  • Season food according to recipes or Head Chef needs
  • Operates various kitchen appliance such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer
  • Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on Head Chef preference
  • Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
  • Estimate expected food consumption and organise preparation
  • Keeps records and accounts of food purchases
  • Meet with customers to ensure a great meal experience
  • Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
  • Offers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants
  • Cleans up after business hours
  • Communicates with Chef about how to improve meal service
  • Alter dishes based on customer suggestions or requirements
  • Roles require late hours and weekend work

KITCHEN Skills and Qualifications:

Basic computational skills, organisational skills, verbal communication, culinary arts training, kitchen equipment knowledge, butchering, knowledge of international cuisines, creativity, interpersonal skills.
